Practice Services and Clinics
The practice offers the following services and clinics in the practice:
Ante Natal Clinic:
By appointment on a Tuesday afternoon. The clinic is jointly run by our Doctors and Midwives.
Child Health Clinic
By appointment on a Tuesday afternoon. Childhood immunizations and developmental assessments are carried out by our Doctors and Health Visitors.
Well Baby Clinic
A clinic run by our Health Visitors is held on Monday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm. Please call to make an appointment. The direct line for the Health Visitors is 020 7354 0597 - messages can be left anytime.
Minor Surgery
The surgery is equipped to enable your doctor to deal with warts, verrucas and skin tags.
Family Planning
A full range of contraceptive services including emergency contraception and advice are offered by our doctors and our family planning trained nurses. Under 20's can also obtain emergency contraception from participating pharmacies FREE of charge. Over 20's can obtain emergency contraception from pharmacies for a fee of £25.
Cervical Smears
We invite all women to make an appointment for a cervical smear. Regular smears and treatment of abnormalities that are detected can prevent the development of cervical cancer. Please tell your doctor if you have not had this test.
Travel Vaccinations
We offer a comprehensive travel advice and vaccination service, including to patients no registered with our surgery. We are a designated Yellow Fever Centre. See further details.
Chronic Disease Clinics
Doctors and Nurses in the practice work together closely to provide integrated care for a number of chronic diseases, including diabetes, heart disease, chronic lung disease, raised blood pressure, mental health problems, and epilepsy. This includes regular review appointments where needed, and medication review.
Alcohol problems
Patients registered with the surgery may make appointments to see Jeff Fernandez, the Alcohol Nurse Lead in Primary Care.
Blood Tests
Blood tests can be taken at the Surgery on Wednesday mornings, by our phlebotomist between 9 am and 12.30. This is on a first come first served basis and no appointment is needed. When you arrive at the surgery please go to downstairs reception and take a card. Bloods can only be done for those patients who are have a Whittington blood test performed
Emergency Contraception
Emergency contraception advice is available on the day. Please ask to speak to the reception staff in a private room, which is available next to the surgery reception , and then reception staff will arrange appointment for that day with the nurses or doctor.
Sexual Health Clinics
We offer contraception as wee as sexual health advice including Chlamydia screening. Please ask to see one of our nurses
