All consultations are by appointment and can be booked in person at the surgery, over the telephone, or online.
A number of appointment slots are offered ranging from book on the day and up to four weeks in advance. Advanced slots are taken very quickly but we do offer extended hours. Please see our opening times for details.
We also operate a telephone triage service where a doctor will call you back to discuss your problem.
When making your appointment you may find that the receptionist will ask you for a brief reason for your appointment. This is so that your appointment is booked appropriately. Some conditions or problems need longer than others and some conditions or problems are dealt with by specific clinicians. You can give 'personal' as your appointment reason but please bear in mind that we ask for a reason to help you get the best care from your clinician. All staff including receptionists are bound by a duty of confidentiality towards all of our patients.
Remember you must request for British Signing language or Interpreters service as well when booking an appointment if needed during your consultation with the doctor or nurse.

Islington Central Medical Centre uses a text messaging service to remind patients about appointments etc. Please let us know of any changes or updates to your mobile telephone number so we can continue to provide this service.
