Blood tests have a wide range of uses and are one of the most common types of medical test.
There is a phlebotomy service available at the practice on the following days:
- Monday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm (lunch break 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm)
- Wednesday 9:00 am – 11:15 am
- Thursday 9:00 am – 11:15 am
- Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm (lunch break 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm)
This is a walk-in service so please just turn up between the stated times above. When you arrive please take a ticket from the ticket machine and wait for your number to be called. If you have been asked to ‘fast’ please do not eat or drink (except water) in the 10 hours before the test. You can only have a blood test if you have a blood form from your GP.

We cannot take bloods under 16 years old children on Wednesdays and Thursdays but we can take them on Mondays and Fridays.
